Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Pre-Rush Checklist Item?
Hello, my question is regarding the Rush Packet. On the Pre-Rush Checklist, the last item is:
General Information for the Collegian brochure (all applicants)
Must be secured from the Graduate Advisor. Signature required for receipt of document. Cannot be downloaded from website. Applicants are required to review and adhere to the mandates outlined in this document.
Do I just ask the Graduate Advisor for this General Information, or is there another way I should go about obtaining this Brochure? Is this to be done after the Rush flyers have gone up or any time is acceptable?
I don't mean to be so particular about this next question, but it'd be great if I could get some advice on my Interest Letter. I have everything written out, yet I wasn't sure who to address it to, (ie to start off by saying "Hello," or "To Whom it May Concern", etc.) and little details like does date or margins, font size matter?
Any answers are appreciated. Thanks!

To the first part of your question, I don't know the answer, but I will check with my sister.
On the other question I have asked this myself and the answers I was given pretty much all stated that as long as you include all the pertainent information about your interest and what you can bring to the table doesn't matter. But as far as font, I was told to do standard business font between 10-12 times new roman or garamond and the date must be no more than 30 days dated before the due date.
If you need more help, you should join women of aspirations group (yahoo) or akadreams group. I hear they both have good amounts of members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc to answer questions who spend their time doing it.
