GSP Rushfit Review - Georges St. Pierre Workout/Training DVD Program (Independent Review)
Who Is Next For Georges St Pierre?
Georges St. Pierre's list of challengers just got smaller as he has already beaten every top level fighter in the UFC 170 pound weight division. St. Pierre looks unbeatable and has already cleaned out the welterweight division. So who's next for the Canadian fighter at welterweight?
Jon Fitch
The first time these two fought GSP beat him so badly. However, 9 out of his last 7 fights have all gone to a decision. Since many don't consider Fitch exciting, the UFC may be less likely to grant him a title shot. However, St Pierre he has already best him and most fans do not want to see another lopsided fight.
Thiago Alves
Alves is the heaviest striker who could actually knock out GSP. However, he has to first hit him and first. Again he already fought and lost to St Pierre in convincing fashion. Though Alves is set to undergo exploratory surgery, he could be back in action as early as UFC 114. However, it may be 2 or 3 years if Alves fights and continues to win.
Paulo Thiago
Paulo Thiago is probably going to get the next shot at the title is he wins his fight with Martin Kampmann. Thiago is often ranked among the top ten welterweights in the world by leading mixed martial arts publications. He has a black belt in jiu-jitsu and in judo and has decent hands. Though Thiago could be just one or two solid wins away from deserving a match with St. Pierre, he's not necessarily a fan favorite among American audiences.
Jake Shields
Many hardcore fans want to see him face St. Pierre and Shields. This is the fight everyone MMA fan wants to see. Shield's is the best welterweight in the world besides St Pierre. He is better on the ground than GSP is and holds a black belt in jiu-jitsu under Cesar Gracie. Shields also has very good wrestling credentials and was a 2 time All American wrestler.
If there is a guy that will beat or at least put up a fight it is Jake Shields

Answer:
Well dude, I know for sure that it is going to be an awesome fight to say the least. The promos alone have got me pumped for the fight. I really think it could go either way and it definitely has a chance at fight of the year. So with that in mind let's start the analysis.
- We'll start with Jake Shields. He has won 15 straight fights and I doubt he'll go down easily. He came to UFC with great hype and there is no way he will disappoint. Like GSP, he is considered one of the best pound for pound fighters. Right now his record stands at 26-4, with 10 wins by submission and 3 by KO.
- Now Georges St. Pierre. He is one of, if not the best pound for pound fighters. Also while Shield's streak is more impressive, GSP has not lost a match since April 7, 2007. So GSP also has a streak he won't let go of easily either. In addition to that GSP is also one of the most successful people in takedowns in UFC history, succeeding 70% of the time. Lastly, UFC 129 will be in GSP's home country of Canada. Whether this will be an important factor remains to be seen. St. Pierre's record is 21-2, with 8 KOs and Decisions and 5 Submissions.
All together, I think it will be a fight to remember. If I had to tell you who I think will win, I think I'd have to say GSP, but I'd be proud to call either man the UFC Welterweight Champion.
