TV Show Caprica -Background Facts And Favorite Points About The Series
If you're science fiction fanatic then you've undoubtedly heard of the TV show Caprica. Becoming a favorite of both males and females the shows fan base is growing quickly. Though there are clearly some who are not fans of the show those who do will tell you Caprica is one-of-a-kind.
A spinoff of already popular Battlestar Gallactica; Caprica is told 58 years prior to Battlestar Galacitica's existence. Telling of how Cylons; a machine type robot created by humans plot to destroy the humans because they feel they were treated poorly. Though fans of Battlestar Galactica will notice some similarities between and Caprica unlike many spinoff series with this one, you can watch without necessarily having background from the program before it. During the show, you are introduced to two families the Graystone's and the Adama's a series of events unfold both families lives intertwine.
The two-hour pilot of the program was first aired in January 2010. Ronald Moore, a well-known screenwriter and producer with a continuously growing list fan favorite in the world of science fiction enlisted the help of David Eick to make the series a reality.
Those who watch regularly will notice a significant number of recurring cast members however, the series itself is based around seven main cast members such as Eric Stoltz who plays Daniel Graystone, Paula Malcomson who plays Amanda Graystone, Alessandra Torresani who portrays character Zoe Graystone, Esai Morales who plays Joseph Adama, Sasha Roiz is Sam Adama, Magda Apanowicz portrays Lucy Rand while Polly Walker portrays Sister Clarice Willow.
Many people are surprised to learn that though Caprica is made in America filming takes place in many locations throughout Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Various scenes are actually that oath, existing buildings in British Columbia.
Though originating in the United States the series has made its way to Canada, as well as the United Kingdom with great success so far. Though it has not been on the air long you will already find it is well on its way as it has already announced a second season is soon to be available.
